David E. Mcconnaughy

David E. McConnaughy, 62, of Parkwood Court, died Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. He was born August 29, 1947 in New Castle, a son of the late Elmer McConnaughy and Bertha (Barkley) Seckler of Florida. He married Karen S. (Craven) McConnaughy on May 18, 1983, she survives in New Castle. Mr. McConnaughy was a machine operator at the cheese factory in West Middlesex. He enjoyed the outdoors and playing horseshoes.
He is survived by, two sons, Davie Colich of Sharon, PA, and David McConnaughy, Jr. of Pittsburgh, one daughter, Ashley McConnaughy of New Castle, two step-sons, Charles Mullins, and William Mullins, both of New Castle, sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 11 am to 12 noon.
