Freedom L. Callahan

Freedom L. Callahan, 31, of 1709 Morris St., New Castle, died Friday morning, June 9, 2006 at his home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born February 14, 1975 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of Jerry and Peggy (Heath) Callahan. His parents survive in New Castle. He married Marry (Carbone) Callahan on October 1, 2004, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Callahan worked at the Fairfield Confectionery in New Castle for 5 years. He loved spending time with his step-children and nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed working on and fixing cars.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by, 1 step-son, Julien Carbone of New Castle, 1 step-daughter, Raygan Carbone of New Castle, 2 sisters, Faith Callahan and Geri Lynn Myers both of New Castle, PA, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, June 12, 2006 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Michael Marshall will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
