William H. Mccormick

William H. McCormick, 72, of 212 Sayer RD, Prospect, PA, died Saturday morning, June 10, 2006 at Butler Hospital in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was born April 27, 1934 in Rose Point, Pennsylvania the son of William and Grace (Turner) McCormick. His parents precede him in death. He married Carol A. (Barnes) McCormick on June 9, 1956. She survives in Prospect. Mr. McCormick retired from McClymond's Trucking as a truck driver after 10 years of service. He previously worked for Sechan's Trucking for 20 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed gardening and raising livestock.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, 6 daughters, Debby Allen of Prospect, PA, Cindy Michaels of Harmony, PA, Vicky Guidish of Prospect, PA, Crystal McCormick of Prospect, PA, Tracy Daw of Slippery Rock, PA, and Cheryl Sheppeck of Butler, PA, 3 sons, Billy McCormick of Portersville, PA, Mike McCormick of Slippery Rock, PA, and John McCormick of Prospect, PA, 2 sisters, Florence Bartley of New Castle, PA, and Joyce Derden of Hot Springs, AK, 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Dave McCormick, his sister Barbara McAdoo and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 13, 2006from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 1:30 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Union Cemetery in Worth Twp., PA.
