William F. 'Billy' Palmiro

William F. ‘Billy’ Palmiro, 53, of 210 N. Lafayette St., Mahoningtown, died Wednesday afternoon, June 14, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born November 27, 1952 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the son of Frank and Martha (Domenick) Palmiro. His parents precede him in death. Mr. Palmiro was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish. He was co-owner and operator of the Mahoning Deli in Mahoningtown for 10 years. He previously worked for Airway Luggage for 10 years in maintenance and was a bartender at Cousins 3 in New Castle for 5 years. Mr. Palmiro was an avid sports fan and enjoyed taking trips to casinos.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Mary Jane Palmiro and Connie Palmiro Graham both of New Castle, PA, and a nephew, Jimmy Graham of New Castle, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion Louise Funera.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2006 from 5-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Lucy Church. Father Kenneth Keene of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
