Helen M. Cimini

Helen M. Cimini, 84, of E. Division Street, died Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born September 7, 1925 in Koppel, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Concetta (Precanico) Cutri. She was married to A. Todd Cimini who died on October 19, 1989. Mrs. Cimini was the Cafeteria Supervisor for the New Castle Area School District retiring after 17 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and enjoyed crocheting, reading and cooking. Mrs. Cimini also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons, David A. Cimini and his wife Audrey of Mt. Lebanon, PA, Vincent J. Cimini of New Castle, Gary M. Cimini and his wife JoAnn of Bayonne, NJ, and Mark T. Cimini of New Castle, one daughter-in-law, Maureen Cimini Schleich of New Castle, one brother, John Cutri of Phoenix, AZ, one sister, Dolores McFarland and her husband Jim of New Castle, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Raymond J. Cimini, two brothers, Domenick and Anthony Cutri, and three sisters, Minnie Fontana, Susan Komara, and Carmella Rosati.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
