Shirley A. Shropshire

Shirley A. Shropshire, 71, of Overlook Medical Center, formerly of West Pittsburg, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Overlook Medical Center in New Wilmington. She was born January 12, 1938 in New Castle, a daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Stickle) Hall. She was married to John H. ‘Jack’ Shropshire, who died on December 7, 1993. Mrs. Shropshire was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Shropshire and his fiancé, Mary Ann Tomsky of New Castle, and Rodney Shropshire and his wife Stacey of West Pittsburg, two sisters, Betty Maravella, and Marilyn Sankey, both of Ruskin, FL, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Robert, and Ronald Hall.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
