Margaret M. Destefano

Margaret M. DeStefano, 70, of Highland Ave., New Castle, died Monday evening, June 26, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born May 31, 1936 in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of James and Reba (Ile) Eutzy. Her parents precede her in death. She married Jooseph D. DeStefano on October 10, 1955. He survives in New Castle. Mrs. DeStefano was a member of St. Vitus Church and was a cook for the New Castle School District retiring after 10 years. She enjoyed knitting and crotchetting, reading, doing crossword puzzles and cooking. She also enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, 1 son, Joseph D. DeStefano, Jr. of Frederick, MD, 2 daughters, Donna M. Campbell of New Castle, PA, and Mrs. Richard (Janet) Lasko of New Castle, PA, 6 brothers, John Eutzy, James Eutzy, George Eutzy, Donald Eutzy, Terry Eutzy, and Walter Eutzy all of Pennsylvania, 6 sisters, Myrtle Yohe, Lula Hutchison both of Pennsylvania, Pearl Plasterer of Florida, Martha Ott, Gloria Coy, and Grace Russell all of Pennsylvania and 2 grandchildren, Steven & Michael Campbell both of New Castle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Paul Gipe and Charles Eutzy.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 from 5-8 pm.

Blessing services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Robert Zajdel of St. Vitus Chruch will be officiating. Burial will be in the Parkside Cemetery.
