Robert S. Llewellyn, 82, of Jackson Avenue, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at his son’s residence in Cocoa, Florida. He was born August 1, 1927 in New Castle, a son of the late William and Nellie (Bennett) Llewellyn. He was married to Flossie L. (Jones) Llewellyn who died on December 5, 2008. Mr. Llewellyn retired after over 30 years as an Engineer from Youngstown Sheet & Tube and LTV Steel. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Llewellyn attended the Shepherd's Lighthouse Church and Hoover Heights Missionary Church and was very active in the churches. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends who he loved dearly and has touched all of their lives immensely.
He is survived by four daughters, Diana Llewellyn and Brenda Roberts, both of New Castle, and Marjorie Gavin and Marlea Llewellyn both of Sugar Hill, GA, four sons, Bryan Llewellyn of Cocoa, FL, Jerry Llewellyn of Sugar Hill, GA, R. Scott Llewellyn of Tampa, FL, and Robert Llewellyn of Greenville, SC, four brothers, William and Charles Llewellyn, both of New Castle, PA, Wallace Llewellyn of Phoenix, AZ, and Timothy Leonard of Phoenix, AZ, three sisters, Carol Brown of New Castle, Delolorez Brown of Phoenix, AZ, and Marlea Caldwell of Valley Springs, CA, eighteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ceceila Stewart.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 11:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Charles Llewellyn of Shepherd's Lighthouse Church and Rev.
