Joseph 'Joey' J. Sibeto

Joseph J. ‘Joey’ Sibeto, 26, of Ann St., Carnegie, PA, died Friday afternoon, July 7, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born February 15, 1980 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of Joseph and Carmi (Sabino) Sibeto, Jr., his parents survive in Carnegie, PA. Joey was currently a mail clerk at the UPMC South Side Site in Pittsburgh for 5 years. Before that he worked at Lark Enterprises in New Castle. Joey was a student in the St. Anthony School Program at Canevin High School, where he graduated in 2000 and went on to Duquesne University. At Duquesne he received the Student of the Year Award in 2001, as well as various athletic awards throughout his school years. Joey enjoyed bowling, singing and dancing and watching movies. He also enjoyed listening to Oldies and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by 1 brother, Marcus Alan Sibeto of Carnegie, PA, his Grandmothers, Clara Sabino and Ann Sibeto, a number of Aunts & Uncles, James & Karen Gay, John & Toni Scaduto, Paul & Marcia Sibeto, David & Roseanne Stickel, Nancy Sibeto, Mary Ann Daugherty, Sam & Trina Sibeto, John & Alexandria Sibeto, Don & Janine Womeldorff, Frank & Linda Siciliano, Nick & Anna Sibeto and Robin Sibeto, and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Joseph Sibeto, Sr. & John T. Sabino.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave., New Castle on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery in New Castle.
