Catherine E. 'Katie' Jones

Catherine E. ‘Katie’ Jones, 81, of Overlook Medical Center, formerly of Motor St., New Castle, died Monday evening, July 10, 2006 at Overlook Medical Center in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. She was born April 21, 1925 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Carl and Elizabeth (McChesney) Schultz. Her parents precede her in death. She was married to LeRoy S. Jones who died in March of 1974. Mrs. Jones worked at Shenango China in labor for many years. She took pride in her cooking and her homemaking.
She is survived by 1 brother, Rev. Dr. Carl Schultz of Houghton, NY, 2 half-brothers, Norman Phillips of New Palestine, IN and Ned Phillips of Indianapolis, IN, 1 half-sister, Martha Huffman of New Castle and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Goldie Schultz.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Castle View Memorial Gardens. Friends and relatives are asked to meet at Castle View at 12:45 pm on Thursday. Rev. Dr. Carl Schultz, brother of the deceased, will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
