Shawn Quinn

Shawn Quinn, 45, of Boston Avenue, Union Township, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh. He was born April 29, 1964 in Coral Gables, Florida a son of the late William Quinn and Joan (Pagley) Quinn. His mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Quinn was the general manager of C's Waffle House for many years and was a member of the Mary Mother of Hope Parish.

He is survived by one son, Brandon Quinn of Salem, OH, two brothers, William Quinn of Abbey, GA, and Tracy Quinn of New Castle, two sisters, Yvonne Quinn-Joseph of New Castle, and Tiffany Kusnierczyk of Hubbard, OH, and two nephews, David Kusnierczyk, and John Joseph, both of New Castle, PA.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Nicole Quinn, one brother, Patrick Quinn, and one nephew, William Quinn.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 4 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 9:00 am at Mary Mother of Hope Church. Father Victor J. Molka, Jr. of Mary Mother of Hope Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery.
