Loraine K. Bentley

Loraine K. Bentley, 67, Avalon Nursing Center, formerly of McCaslin Road, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Avalon Nursing Center. She was born August 25, 1942 in Grove City, a daughter of the late Benjamin ‘Frank’ McMichael and Evelyn (Pence) McMichael, who survives in New Castle. Mrs. Bentley was a district manager for H&R Block for many years. She enjoyed going to and watching movies, reading, and singing Christmans carols. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Joan Kristufec and her husband Robert of Beaver Falls, and Lisa Wallace, and Kelly Bentley, both of Pittsburgh, one son, James Wallace of New Castle, one brother, James McMichael of New Castle, one sister, Mary McMichael of New Castle, three grandchildren, Kyah Bentley, Alexis Cervi, and Chloe Chervi, and her 1st husband, James Wallace of New Castle.

She was also preceded in death by her 2nd husband, William Bentley, Jr..

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Ethel Icenhour of Beaver, PA and Avalon Nursing Center for their wonderful care throughout the years.
