Yolanda Passaretti

Yolanda Passaretti, 91, of Vista South Apartments, died Friday morning, July 14, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born July 9, 1915 in Quarzina, Italy, a daughter of Edward and Secondina (Merlino) Merlino. She was married to Bernard Passaretti who died June 4, 2000. Mrs. Passaretti was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, gardening and music. She was a member of St. Vitus Church, the Blue Army, 3rd Order of St. Francis and the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. John (Arlette) Buonpane of New Castle, PA, Mrs. James (Carmela) Hawn of Valencia, PA, Mary Ann Passaretti of New Castle, PA, and Jeannette Passaretti of Suprise, AZ, 1 son, Edward Passaretti and his wife DeeAnne of New Castle, PA, 1 sister, Jeannette Courte of Vitrolles, France, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Auguste Merlino and Marcel Merlino.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, July 16, 2006 from 4-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 17, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Robert Zajdel of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:00 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
