Nellie M. Colaluca, 93, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Decker Drive, Neshannock Township, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born December 25, 1916 in Seminole, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Albert and Erminia (Sega) Gaioni. She was married to James Colaluca who died in 1960. Mrs. Colaluca worked at the Shenango China and then was Co-Owner and Operator with her husband of Midwestern Electric Supply until it closed in 1996. She was a member of St. Camillus Church and the Ladies Guild of the church and she enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Peluso and her husband John of New Castle, and Eileen Takakjian and her husband Ronald of New York, one son, James Colaluca of Pittsburgh, one brother, Aldo Veronesi of Wayne, PA, one sister, Marie Naples of New Castle, five grandchildren, and two great granddaughters.

She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Cesare Veronesi, two brothers, James Gaione, and Joseph Veronesi, three sisters, Emma Fedrizzi, Catherine Williams, and Alda Ryan.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Tom Lewandowski of St. Camillus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
