Ada Roberts, 92, of Evergreen Nursing Center, Harmony, PA, formerly of Wilson Avenue, New Castle, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at Evergreen Nursing Center in Harmony. She was born September 28, 1917 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Isaac and Anna (Baker) Joseph. Mrs. Roberts retired from the Housekeeping Department of Jameson Memorial Hospital after over 20 years. She was a member of the St. Elias Orthodox Church and a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, Matthew Roberts and his wife Frances of New Castle, and one grandson, Michael Roberts..
She was also preceded in death by one son, Mark Roberts, and two sisters, Lydia Castellani and Rose Joseph.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 10 am to 12 pm.
A Trisagion Prayer Service with Homily will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 12:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Gregory Harrigle of St. Elias Orthodox Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
