Benjamin R. Perrotta, Jr., 84, of Avalon Nursing Center, formerly of Maple St., New Castle, Wednesday afternoon, August 2, 2006 at Avalon Nursing Center. He was born April 4, 1922 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of Benjamin and Josephine (DiTommaso) Perrotta, Sr. His parents precede him in death. Mr. Perrotta was a self-employed plumber in New Castle for 30 years. He also was a truck driver, a member of the Painters Union and worked at Conn Welding in New Castle. He was a member of the St. Vitus Church and the Tow Jagielly Club. Mr. Perrotta also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by 3 sons, Ricky Perrotta of Masontown, PA, Harry Berbulas of New Castle, PA and Randy Perrotta of New Castle, PA, 1 daughter, Deborah C. Taylor of Edinburg, PA, 3 brothers, Joseph 'Duke' Perrotta of Florida and Steve 'Sonny' Perrotta and James 'Jazz' Perrotta both of New Castle, PA, 2 sisters, Nancy DeRosa and Mary Chill both of New Castle, PA, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret L. Macko Perrotta and Donna J. Jenkins Perrotta, 2 sons, Larry Perrotta Cervone and Bobby Ingram, and 2 sisters, Antionette Edwards and Ann Russo.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, August 4, 2006 from 6-8 pm.
A Blessing Service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. at the William F & Roger M DeCarbo Funeral Home, Inc. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
