John T. 'Bud' Brown, Jr., 68, Edinburg, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born February 5, 1942 in Castlewood, Pennsylvania a son of the late John and Edna (McClearn) Brown, Sr. He married Carol J. (Lutes) Brown on August 13, 1966, she survives in Edinburg. Mr. Brown was a squeeze molder and iron pourer at the New Castle Foundry retiring after 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by, two daughters, Tammy Brown of Ellwood City, and Lisa Mahoney of New Castle, four sons, Robert Williams, Albin Williams, James ‘Tag’ Mahoney, and Michael Mahoney, all of New Castle, three brothers, Aubrey Brown of Goldsboro, NC, James Brown of Ellwood City, and Samuel Brown of New Castle, three sisters, Gloria Bollinger, Diana Lyons, and Margaret Yhelka all of New Castle, twenty-one grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Williams, one son, John T. Brown, III, two brothers, Edward and Henry Brown, and three sisters, Sarah Brown, Carol George, and Patricia Lytle.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Rich Byerly will be officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Baptist Cemetery. On-line condolences can be sent to: www.williamrogerdecarbo.com.
