Willie James Talley

Willie James Talley, 56, of 717 S. Mill St., New Castle, died Friday evening, August 25, 2006 at Moraine State Park Lake in Butler County, Pennsylvania. He was born April 7, 1950 in Petrey, Alabama a son of Marvin and Lois (Mock) Talley. He is preceded in death by his father, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Talley worked as a painter for the Lawrence County Housing Authority for a number of years. He was an avid gardener and fisherman and enjoyed cooking and hunting.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Sandra Gahagan of New Castle, PA, 2 brothers, Zollie Talley of New Castle, PA and Thomas Talley of Arizona, 5 sisters, Jennie Mitchell of New Castle, PA, Selinda Talley of New Castle, PA, Darlene Talley of Gustoria, NC, Loretta Talley of New Castle, PA, and Lorene Talley of Farrell, PA, 1 granddaughter, Brianna Monsilovich of Beaver Co., PA and a host of Nieces and Nephews and Great Grand Nieces and Nephews and Great Great Grand Nieces and Nephews and a host of good friends..

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son Willie Monsilovich, his brother Leroy Talley, and 2 sisters Rosella Talley and Willie Jo Talley Alvarado.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 11 am to 1 pm.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
