Randall Lewis Fulkerson

Randall Lewis Fulkerson, 61, of State Route 956, Volant, died Monday, May 3, 2010 at his home in Volant. He was born March 27, 1949 in New Castle, a son of the late Lewis Fulkerson and Mildred (Spiker) Vild, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Fulkerson was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era serving as a flight mechanic and electronics technician stateside. He then worked for 5 years with IBM and then became a flight mechanic for US Air retiring after 25 years. Mr. Fulkerson was a member of the CG's and the Ducca Degli Abruzzi, and enjoyed flying model airplanes and flying his ultra-light. He also enjoyed boating and the outdoors.

He is also survived by, one daughter, Alicia A. Higgins and her husband Scott of Medina, OH, two sons, James R. Fulkerson and his wife Deneen of Pittsburgh, PA, and Michael J. Fulkerson and his wife Trisha of Pocono, PA, two brothers, Terry Lee Fulkerson and his wife Judy of Polk, PA, and Darryl M. Fulkerson and his wife Janet of New Castle, two sisters, Cheryl Ann Stitt and her husband Kirk of New Castle, and Denise D. Skuta and her husband Jerry of Janesville, WI, and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Fulkerson.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 from 10 am to 12 pm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 12:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
