Josephine A. Lynch, 84, of Jameson Care Center, formerly of Elm Dr., New Castle, died Tuesday afternoon, September 12, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born March 19, 1922 in Donora, Pennsylvania a daughter of John and Mary (Lorenzo) Peluso. Her parents precede her in death. Mrs. Lynch was a Registered Nurse at New Castle Hospital and St. Francis Hospital retiring after 48 years. She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially to Las Vegas.
She is survived by 4 sons, Francis Lynch, Paul Lynch, David Lynch, and Gary Lynch, all of New Castle, PA, 1 brother, John Peluso, Jr. of New Castle, PA, 2 sisters, Mary Bondi and Pauline Caiazza both of New Castle, PA, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Peluso.
A Private Blessing Service will be held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
