Ann T. Blundo, 91, of Winter Road, Union Township, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 New Castle. She was born October 14, 1918 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Vincent Rossolillo and Carmela (Basile) Magliocci. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Patsy Magliocci. She was married to Ralph S. Blundo who died on July 26, 1998. Mrs. Blundo was a homemaker and a life long member of St. Vitus Church. She loved baking and cooking and spending time with her family. She especially loved Sunday dinner and holidays.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita Ginocchi and her husband Joseph, and Carmella Hefferin and her husband Robert, all of New Castle, one son, Ralph A. Blundo and his wife Linda (Joseph) of New Castle, ten grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Samuel Ross, Louis ‘Farmer’ Rossolillo, Frank ‘Chick’ Ross, and James Ross, and five sisters, Julia Appugliese, Theresa ‘Sue’ Maciarella, Jennie Butera, Rachel Cimperman, and Helen Cotelesse.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum.
