Edna M. White

Edna M. White, 83, of 4138 W. Main St., Hillsville, PA, died Saturday evening, October 21, 2006 at her home in Hillsville, Pennsylvania. She was born December 1, 1922 in Grove City, Pennsylvania a daughter of Ralph Redmond and Hazel (Knauff) Bowser. Her parents precede her in death. She married Loyal J. ‘Slim’ White on September 19, 1951, he survives in Hillsville. Mrs. White worked as a Gold Liner at the Shenango China for 7 years and then as a manager for Rigotti's Laundry Mat for 20 years. She attended the Maitland Lane Free Methodist Church and enjoyed her family and taking care of her grandchildren and being a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, 1 son, Loyal D. White of Pulaski, PA, 1 daughter, Catherine M. White of Hillsville, PA, 1 sister, Sylvia J. Wansitler of Edinburg, PA, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Erla Schneider and Ruth Hedglin.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm .

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Linda Hensen will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
