Nicola Peluso

Nicola Peluso, 83, of N. Mercer Street, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at his home in New Castle. He was born August 8, 1927 in New Castle, a son of the late Egidio and Rosa (Veri) Peluso. He was married to Margaret (Quinn) Peluso who died February 12, 1993. Mr. Peluso retired from National Steel Co. working in the furnace for 37 1/2 years. He was a former member of the Sons of Italy and the Eagles. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dancing.
He is survived by two sons, James P. Peluso and his wife Lisa of New Castle, and Nick Peluso and his wife Debra of Titusville, PA, two grandchildren, Michael and Jamilynn Peluso, and two great grandchildren, Mia and Michael Peluso.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John Peluso, and his sister Mary Pacella.
A memorial graveside service will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in care of: James Peluso, 172 Ashberry Ln. Apt. 118, New Castle, PA 16105.
