Pauline Ruth Reese

Pauline Ruth Reese, 69, of King Avenue, Union Township, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born May 23, 1941 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Paul and Marie (Heckathorne) Gilbert. She married Gary W. Reese, Sr. on September 11, 1964, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Reese was a homemaker and a member of the Pulaski Snappy Dragon Garden Club. She loved flower gardening and was a member of the church council of St. John Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one son, Gary W. Reese, Jr. of New Castle, and three grandchildren, Amanda M. Reese, Daniel Ryan O’Neal, and Sarah E. Richard.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Ann O'Neal, and one grandson, William O’Neal.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Robert Kifer of Pulaski United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
