Allen James Ross

Allen James Ross, 63, Riverside Apartments, died Friday, September 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 25, 1947 in Englewood, California a son of the late James and Leslie (Combs) Ross. Mr. Ross was a Vietnam Veteran of the Navy and a member of the Sons of Italy. He enjoyed gambling and shooting pool

He is survived by one son, Alan J. Ross and his wife Mylette of New Castle, one grandson, Andrew Ross of New Castle, one brother, James Ross, Jr. of New Castle, two sisters, Deborah Flannery and Barbara Rainey, both of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Prioletti.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 10 A.M. to 11:45 A.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Sean Francis of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:45 A.M. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
