Evelyn Marie Nelson, 88, of 319 Holly Lane, New Castle, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Rhodes Estates. She was born August 22, 1922 in New Castle, the daughter of the late James and Marie (Schuster) Dart. She was married to William Neil Nelson, who died August 15, 1979. Mrs. Nelson worked at Shenango China for over 25 years
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Claudia (Abraham) Nelson, with whom she made her home, and five grandchildren, Ronald Nelson, Tammy Mascher, Daniel Nelson, Stacey Flynn, and Krista Salmon.
She was also preceded in death by three sons, Richard, Ronald, and James Nelson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Nero will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
