Kathleen A. Staph

Kathleen A. Staph, 63, of New Castle, died Thursday morning, November 23, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born February 10, 1943 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of George P. and Helen (Saad) Joseph. Her father precedes her in death, her mother survives in New Castle. She married Anthony J. Staph on May 31, 1965, he survives in New Castle. Kathy was well known for working alongside her brothers at Joseph's Supermarket for a number of years. She also owned and operated Kathy's Beauty Salon in New Castle for 10 years. Kathy will be remembered by all as a giving person who was deeply devoted to her family and friends, most of all her 13 grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by, two sons, Anthony J. Staph, his wife Shellie (Disalvatore) Staph and their children, Anthony J. Staph, Jr., Nicolas A. Staph and Adriana M. Staph all of New Castle, PA, and Jeffrey G. Staph and Cathy (Cunningham) Staph and their children, Jared R. and Jacob A. Staph all of New Castle, PA, two daughters, Mrs. Jason (Jennifer) Nativio and their children, Crista L. Nativio, Jason A. Nativio, Jr., Matthew J. Nativio and Katherine G. Nativio all of New Castle, PA, and Mrs. Robert (Kelly) Glies and their children, Robert J., Jack A., Luke A. and Jenna A. Glies all of New Castle, PA, two brothers, George M. Joseph and Dennis Joseph both of New Castle, PA, and two sisters, Janet Palimino and Linda Blundo both of New Castle, PA.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM and Saturday from 10 am to 11:30 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 am. Entombment will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
