Mary Grace Frasto

Mary Grace Frasto, 90, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of W. Madison Avenue, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born April 25, 1920 in Provencci Cacatia, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Abbato) Treppicone. She was married to Nick Frasto who died August 15, 1995. Mrs. Frasto was a homemaker and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish and the Holy Rosary Society of St. Lucy Church. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by two daughters, Francis Nunley and her husband Frank of New Castle, and JoAnn Brown and her husband Robert of New Castle, one sister, Antionette Valintis of Italy, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rosa DiCarlo, one sister, Mary Munno, and one brother and three sisters in Italy.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 13, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Steve Palsa of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
