Jackie W. Strayer, 41, of 121 E. Moody Ave., New Castle, died Friday morning, December 15, 2006 at Silver Oaks Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born April 26, 1965 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of Jack and Ella Jane (Mitchell) Strayer. His parents precede him in death. Mr. Strayer enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and taking long car rides.
He is survived by two brothers, Carl H. Strayer of New Castle, PA, and George H. Strayer of Arlington, TX and two nieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James Strayer and Zearl Strayer.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
