Frances C. Doerr

Frances C. Stefano Doerr, 82, of 211 S. Walnut St., New Castle, died Saturday evening, December 23, 2006 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born October 18, 1924 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of Joseph and Bettina (Gaspare) Stefano, her parents precede her in death. She married Robert E. Doerr on February 2, 1957, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Doerr was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with all of her nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, 1 sister, Betty Rozzi of New Castle, PA and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Tullio, Claudio, Michael, Victor, and Arthur Stefano.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
