Fannie R. DeGennaro, 94, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Edison Ave., New Castle, died Saturday afternoon, February 10, 2007 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born August 30, 1912 in Kent, Ohio the daughter of Edward and Anna (Ciprione) Ramicone, her parents precede her in death. She was married to James A. DeGennaro who died on July 10, 1986. Mrs. DeGennaro was a homemaker and a member of the St. Camillus Church. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting. Mrs. DeGennaro competed in the Senior Olympics and won many medals in darts, shuffleboard and other events she competed in.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Ginocchi and her husband Jerry of New Castle, PA, and Joan D. Fletcher and her husband Harold of Rochester, NY, two sons, James E. DeGennaro, Sr. and his wife Judy of Rochester, NY, and Edward M. DeGennaro and his wife Leslie of Rochester, NY, 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, February 12, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Camillus Church. Father Phil Farrell of St. Camillus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:00 am. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum.
