Florence Cwiakala

Florence Cwiakala, 80, of Overlook Nursing Home, formerly of 2009 Wilson Ave. Ext., New Castle, died Friday, February 16, 2007 at Overlook Nursing Home in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. She was born May 11, 1926 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of Frank and Katherine (Wolan) Jarosz. Her parents precede her in death. She married Theodore J. Cwiakala who died on September 10, 1997. Mrs. Cwiakala was an LPN at the Hill View Manor for 20 years, she was also a private duty nurse for many years. She was an avid gardener and loved flowers and was a devoted grandmother.
She is survived by one son, Marshall Cwiakala of Edinburg, PA, one daughter, Patricia Claroni of Edinburg, PA, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Jarosz and Albin Jarosz, and two sisters, Helen Malinchak and Stella Salamonson.
Private funeral services were held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp officiated. Entombment will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
