Hugh W. Heaberlin

Hugh W. Heaberlin, Sr., 62, of 449 Fording Rd., New Castle, died Friday morning, February 23, 2007 at his home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born June 29, 1944 in Leon, Kentucky a son of Samuel and Emma (Slick) Heaberlin, Sr., his parents precede him in death. Mr. Heaberlin married Sandra S. (Bost) Heaberlin on August 26, 1989, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Heaberlin was a crane operator at Youngstown Sheet and Tube for many years and then a truck driver for Jomar Trucking retiring after 15 years. He was a member of the Greater Beneficial Union and the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Heaberlin was the past president of the Cultural German Society. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, two sons, Hugh W. Heaberlin, Jr. and his wife Diane, and David Heaberlin and his wife Nikki, both of New Castle, PA, one daughter, Janet R. Heaberlin of New Castle, PA, two brothers, Samuel Heaberlin, Jr., and Harold Heaberlin, Sr. of New Castle, PA, one sister, Mary Ann Imhoff of New Castle, PA and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, February 26, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor John Yergan will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
