Anna Marie Pidro

Anna Marie Pidro, 97, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, died Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2007 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born September 27, 1909 in Abbington, Illinois a daughter of Cisto and Rosella (DiMatteo) Pidro. Her parents precede her in death. Ms. Pidro was a sewer at Reliable Luggage retiring after many years and was a member of St. Vitus Church.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel Pidro, James 'Eugene' Pidro, and Albert Pidro, and three sisters, Rose Natale Galucci, Theresa Pidro, and Maryvictoria Burzachechi.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, March 5, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
