Anna Merola

Anna Merola, 85, formerly of Worthington Avenue in Neshannock Township, died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Cambridge Falls in Wampum, PA. She was born on September 6, 1938, in Baia e Latina, Caserta, Italy, the daughter of the late Ralph and Rachel (Mone) Conti. She was married to the late Dominic Merola, who died on March 7, 2022. Mrs. Merola was self-employed as a seamstress for 30 years. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus Church, she was past President of the Ladies’ Guild of St. Vitus, a member of PTG at St. Vitus School and Christian Mother’s. Mrs. Merola was also a member of the Parish Consul at St. Vitus and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a chairperson for Pro-Life and a member of the Glory and Praise Prayer Group.

She is survived by four children, Maria Wold and her husband Gary of Sacramento, CA, Rachel Merola of Cranberry Township, John Merola and his wife Lori of Beaver Falls, and Christopher Merola and his wife Tressa of Butler, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Conti and Paul Conte.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 24, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A blessing service will be celebrated Monday, June 24, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Deacon Daniel Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
