Annlyn “Annie” Perrotta Buckner, 37, beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and aunt passed away in Sweetwater, Texas, August 21, 2024, with loved ones by her side. She was born on June 19, 1987, in New Castle, the third of eight children to Robert and Rosanne (Tedescko) Perrotta. She moved to Texas in 2010 where she was raising her daughters and son. Annlyn was first diagnosed in July of 2020 with Stage 3 metastatic breast cancer requiring several surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatment as well as battling complications associated with recurrent infections. Even in the most difficult times she found joy watching her children grow and do what they loved. Her courage and strength were not just physical, but emotional and spiritual, standing tall for her loved ones even in the darkest moments. Annie’s love for her daughters, family and friends, The Ohio State Buckeyes and Whitney Houston will forever live on. She found her strength in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Annlyn is survived by her husband, Michael Buckner, her three loving children, Mia, Emma and Brett, siblings Lisa, Gina, Joseph, Jenna, Dana, Dominic and Anthony, niece Annalyce Perrotta, paternal grandparents, Rosa and Robert “Chobbers” Perrotta Sr., and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
