Anthony A. Rozzi, 77, formerly of Northview Avenue, died Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at The Grand Residence at Upper St. Claire in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in New Castle on September 4, 1947, the son of the late Andrew ‘Chuck’ Rozzi and Mary (DeRosa) Rozzi. He married Merry Kay (Olescyski) Rozzi on October 06, 1973, she survives at home. He was a United States Army Veteran as a Supply Sergeant, serving in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. Mr. Rozzi was a plant manager at PA Engineering for 10 years, and Pullman Industries in Butler for 5 years. He was the owner and operator of New Castle Fasteners for 25 years, selling industrial fasteners. Mr. Rozzi enjoyed golfing, cooking, and baking bread. He also enjoyed Pittsburgh sports, Soul and Doowop Music, and playing cards. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and driving the open road.
In addition to his wife, he was also survived by two children, Andrew J. Rozzi and his wife Michelle of McMurray, PA, and Lyndsey N. Rozzi-Palmiere and her husband Arthur of Pittsburgh, PA, six grandchildren, Anthony Rozzi, Luciano Rozzi, Eloisa Rozzi, Christopher Rozzi, Maetta Palmiere, and Ruby Palmiere, one brother, Dennis Rozzi, and two sisters, Linda Budai and Michele Stroia.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, William ‘Billy’ Rozzi.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Blessing service will be celebrated Monday, March 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. O
