Arlene M. Rogers

Arlene M. Rogers, 81, of Friendship Street, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born in New Castle on May 5, 1936 a daughter of the late Carl and Blanche (Marshall) Hassig. She was married to the late Franklin Rogers who died May 11, 1987. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, making crafts, knitting and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Devon Rogers and wife Cheryl of Carmichaels, PA, Dexter Rogers and wife Linda of Riverton, UT and Francis Romano and husband Robert of Hillsville, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her step-daughter, Bonnie Devore, two brothers, Clyde and Alfred Hassig and two sisters, Shirley Kronstad and Belva Hassig.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2 PM to 3 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
