Bessie E. Rick

Bessie E. Rick, 83, of Point Place, New Castle, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home in New Castle. She was born April 9, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio a daughter of the late Homer and Jane (Smith) Malone. She was married to the late Andrew J. Rick who died March 19, 1987. Mrs. Rick worked at Double R Enterprises for 10 years. She had a great faith in God and she loved her family very much.

She is survived by two children, Andrew L. Rick and fiancé Kristy McIntroy of New Castle and Betty Kelly of New Castle, two brothers, Roy Malone and Homer Malone Jr., both of West Virginia, one sister, Margie Mickle of North Field, OH, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son Joseph Rick, her brother Danny Malone, two sisters, Opal Malone and Edith Shingleton, and her great great granddaughter Rania Koziol.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery.
