Beverly L. Grossman

Beverly Lenora Grossman, 78, of Almira Avenue, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Quality Life Services New Castle. She was born April 13, 1940 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Emerson and Bernice (Myers) Reno. She was married to the late Paul J. Grossman, Sr., who died December 27, 2012. Mrs. Grossman was a waitress at the Village Inn Restaurant retiring after 42 years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards and bingo, gardening, bowling and loved making Christmas cookies.

She is survived by five children, Denise ‘Dee’ Johnson and husband Clifford of New Castle, Sheila A. Rice of New Castle, Paul J. Grossman, Jr. of Indiana, PA, Marcia L. Patterson and companion Joey Weber of New Castle, and Jeanenne R. Michaels and husband Darryl of New Castle, one brother, Warner Reno of New Castle, twelve grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Gene Reno.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
