Brian Scott Cuscino, 44, of North Mercer Street, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 in New Castle. He was born January 19, 1974 in New Castle, the son of Eugene Cuscino of Anthem, AZ and Sandi (Chestney) Gormley of New Castle. He was married to Heather Lee (Carbone) Cuscino on April 22, 1995, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Cuscino was a detective for the New Castle Police Department for 17 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, playing the guitar and watching hockey. More than anything he loved spending time with his sons and his cat, Snowball.
In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by two sons, Brandon Storm Cuscino, and Dustin Scott Cuscino, both of New Castle, one sister, Vicki Cuscino of Tucson, AZ, his step-father, Richard Gormley, Sr. of New Castle, his step-mother, Patty Cuscino of Anthem, AZ, two step-brothers, Richard Gormley, Jr. of New Castle, and Jeff Shaffer of San Francisco, CA, and a number of nieces and nephews and his friends that are family.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 2 PM to 7 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Bill Siple of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
