Carol Ann Beighley

Carol (Somma) Beighley, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was born November 18, 1948 to Nicolas and Agnes (Vericella) Somma. She was married to Vern L. Beighley on June 28, 1975. Carol was the owner of a bridal shop, was a beautician, and worked at Graziani construction. She attended Youngstown State University.

Carol was a tremendous baker, known for her cannoli. She loved planting flowers, walking on the beach, stuffed animals, and making lists. She was incredibly fierce and uncommonly kind.

Carol is survived by her husband, her daughter, Dr. Nicole Mitchell of Bethel Park, and her son, Mr. Eric Beighley of New Castle. She will be missed beyond measure by her beloved granddaughter, Karsyn, and her sweet dog, Jojo. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Somma and his wife, Cheryl; her sister in law, Karen Somma.

Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Somma.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Vitus Church. The family asked that anyone attending the mass Wednesday, please meet at the church.
