Charles ‘Snook’ Rockland Chambers, 59, of Beaver, PA, formerly of New Castle, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Heritage Valley Medical Center in Beaver. He was born June 24, 1958 in New Castle, a son of the late Charles Chambers and Beatrice (DeHass) Leckwart, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Chambers was an aid at the Youth Development Center in New Castle retiring after 14 years. He was an avid Steelers fan, enjoyed classic cars and going to ‘Back to the '50's’, he also rode motorcycles, hunted, and played softball. Above all he loved his four granddaughters.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters, Chasidee A. Garove and husband Chris of Bessemer, and Krystal M. Chambers of Ellwood City, one brother, Timothy Chambers of Mercer, two sisters, Elizabeth Chambers of New Castle, and Kimberly Clayton of North Sewickley, and four granddaughters, Jaliyah Chambers, Malayah Williams, Alayna Garvoe, and Adelyn Garove.
He was also preceded in death by his step-father Ralph Flowers.
