Clara D. Gingras
February 27, 1939 — March 11, 2019
Clara D. Gingras, 80, of Center Avenue, West Pittsburg, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born February 27, 1939 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Francesco and Philomena (Martrella) DiVitto. Mrs. Gingras was a waitress and bartender at Frengel's Restaurant for 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and making crafts.
She is survived by four children, Frank J. Gingras and his wife Gale of New Castle, Gene A. Gingras and his wife Vickie of Murfreesboro, TN, Phyllis A. Heasley of New Castle, and Kelli J. Cameron and her husband Dale of New Castle, one brother, Angelo DiVitto of London, England, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son Anthony F. Gingras, two brothers, Ovidio 'Sonny' DiVitto and Frank DiVitto, Jr., two sisters, Rose Sanchez and Nancy Voras, and one grandson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 12:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating.
