Clara E. Lombardo

Clara Eleanore Lombardo, 102, of Hazen Street, died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born July 19, 1916 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Peter and Elodia (DiCola) Cugini. She was married to the late Valentine F. Lombardo who died February 1987. Mrs. Lombardo worked for Boron Cleaning Service retiring after 10 years, prior to that she worked at Smith Dry Cleaning. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and the Ladies Guild of the Church and she enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Frederick A. Lombardo and wife Loretta of Herndon, VA, and Ronald L. Lombardo and wife Diane of New Castle, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, three brothers, Addison, Anthony, and Joseph Cugini, two sisters Elizabeth Nocera and an infant sister and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Blessing services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum.
