Cynthia L. Booher

Cynthia L. Booher, 62, of Ridgewood Court, died Friday, December 8, 2023, at her daughter's residence in New Castle. She was born July 23, 1961, in New Castle, a daughter of the late John O’Neill and Linda (Essinger) Cook. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Sam ‘Sonny’ Cook. Mrs. Booher was married to the late Dana J. Booher, who died on July 13, 2023. Mrs. Booher was a secretary for Castle Reality, retiring after 26 years. She enjoyed gardening flowers, playing cards, collecting teacups, and above all, she loved playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Brandi L. Crowl and her husband Andrew of New Castle, and Jeremy S. Booher of Richmond, VA, three grandchildren, Andrew E. Crowl, Ellie L. Crowl, and Audrey J. Crowl, one brother, John O’Neill of New Castle, and one sister, Cheryl Sonntag of Sharon.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
