Dan E. 'Red' Butler

Dan Edward ‘Red’ Butler, 57, of Home Street, died Friday, January 4, 2019 in New Castle. He was born October 18, 1961 in Sacramento, California a son of the late Donald and Donna (Anderson) Butler. Red was a member of the Sons of Italy and enjoyed repairing small engines. He was an avid San Francisco 49er's and Giants fan and loved spending time with his friends.
He is survived by four children, Monica Carson of San Jose, CA, Nicole Butler of San Jose, CA, Stephanie West of Seattle, WA, and Jacob Butler of New Castle, one brother, Steve Butler of Merced, CA, one sister, Jeane Rivera of Merced, CA, and two grandchildren, Cody and Cali Carson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 10 AM to 11 AM.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Richard Nero will be officiating.
