Dana J. Booher

Dana Jeffrey Booher, 65, of Ridgewood Court in Shenango Township, died Thursday, July 13, 2023 at his residence in New Castle. He was born on June 28, 1958 in New Castle, the son of the late Robert and Sally (Thomas) Booher. Mr. Booher married Cynthia L. (O’Neill) Booher on April 16, 1983, she survives at home. Mr. Booher worked for Pitt Ohio Express as a supervisor, truck driver, and dispatcher retiring after 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, Blues music, playing poker, and above all, spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Brandi L. Crowl and her husband Andrew of New Castle, and Jeremy S. Booher of Richmond, VA, three grandchildren, Andrew E. Crowl, Ellie L. Crowl, and Audrey J. Crowl, and two brothers, Robert Booher of New Castle and Stephen Booher of Transfer, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Susan Filauri.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, July 21, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
