Darryl Thomas

Darryl ‘Weegie’ Thomas, 61, of Dushane Street, died Monday, September 17, 2018 at his home in New Castle. He was born November 17, 1956 in New Castle, a son of the late Henri Mahone and the late Katherine Thomas. Mr. Thomas was an Army veteran and he enjoyed traveling, listening to music and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by five children, Tania Dessau of Pittsburgh, Khala Thomas of New Castle, India Thomas of New Castle, Darryl Thomas, Jr. of Johnstown, and Judea Thomas of Johnstown, seven brothers, Henry Thomas, Dennis Mahone, Timothy Thomas, John Thomas, Jessie Mahone, Warren Manhone, and Michael Mahone, six sisters, Tina Armstrong, Renay Thomas, Linda Bandy, LaJena Solomon, Ethel Mahone, and Doris Mahone, and twelve grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Donald Thomas, Charles Thomas, Jerome Mahone, William Thomas, Thomas Thomas, Elmer Mahone, and John Mahone, and one sister, Angie Mahone.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Keith Burley will be officiating.
