David Lee Aiken, 69, of Emerson Avenue, died Friday, November 2, 2018 at Quality Life Services New Castle. He was born April 5, 1949 in New Castle, a son of the late James and Hazel (Stoops) Aiken. Mr. Aiken rolled steel at Blair Strip Steel retiring after over 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam serving in the South Pacific. Mr. Aiken enjoyed shopping online and online auctions and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed tinkering in his garage repairing small engines.
He is survived by two sons, Philip D. Aiken of Flagstaff, AZ and Brandon C. Aiken of Phoeniz, AZ, two brothers, Merle R. Aiken of South Amherst, OH and James W. Aiken of Harrisville, PA, four sisters, Mildred M. Magee of Portersville, PA, Norma J. Shaffer of The Villages, FL, Marilyn M. Workman of Energy, PA and Linda McCombs of Hubbard, OH, and five grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert P. and Charles Aiken.
